Course overview

A theory and annual refresher course in injectable complication management. It covers prevention and consent, facial vascular anatomy and danger zones, recognising vascular occlusion, a timed high-dose pulsed hyaluronidase emergency protocol, impending blindness, infection, biofilm and delayed nodules, anaphylaxis and medical emergencies, toxin-specific complications, and your emergency kit, records and referral pathways. There is no practical treatment element.
