Accredited online beauty and aesthetics courses in the UK
Luxe Academy Online is a UK online training provider based in Liverpool, delivering accredited beauty, aesthetics, skincare and SPMU courses that you study entirely online at your own pace.
Accreditation is the part learners find hardest to unpick, so this page explains what it actually means in practice, what you receive when you finish, and the questions to ask any provider before you pay.
What accreditation means for an online course
In the UK, beauty and aesthetics training is not licensed by a single government body. Instead, courses are accredited by independent awarding and accrediting organisations, and insurers decide which certificates they will accept for cover.
Our courses are accredited through CA Worldwide. On completion you receive a certificate issued in your own name that you can present to insurers, employers and clients.
- Accreditation is issued by an independent accrediting body, not by the academy itself.
- Insurers assess the certificate, the syllabus and any prerequisites for the treatment.
- Some advanced injectable treatments require an existing medical or prescribing qualification.
How our online training is delivered
Every course is delivered as structured online modules you work through in order, with filmed step-by-step demonstrations on the courses where video is available, a downloadable training manual, and an end-of-course assessment.
Each course follows the same ten-part structure so nothing is missed: introduction, health and safety, anatomy and physiology, client consultations, contraindications, tools and product recommendations, pre-treatment advice, step-by-step method, aftercare and assessment.
- Self-paced — start immediately after purchase, no fixed dates.
- Lifetime access to your course modules and downloadable manual.
- Certificate generated once you complete every module and pass the assessment.
Questions to ask before you enrol anywhere
Use these to compare any online provider, including us.
- Who accredits the course, and is the certificate issued in my name?
- Are there prerequisites — for example an existing qualification for injectables?
- Is a written manual included, and can I keep it?
- Is there an assessment, and what mark do I need to pass?
- Will my insurer accept this certificate for the treatment I want to offer?
Common questions
- Are online beauty courses accredited in the UK?
- Yes — accreditation comes from independent accrediting bodies rather than a government licence. Our courses are accredited through CA Worldwide and the certificate is issued in your name.
- Do I need a qualification before an aesthetics course?
- Some do. Advanced injectable and complications training assumes you are already qualified in injectables, and prescription-only medicines require a prescriber or a named-prescriber arrangement. Each course page lists its prerequisites.
- How long does an online course take?
- Courses are self-paced. Most learners complete a single course over a few evenings, but you keep access so you can work through it as slowly as you like.
