Online SPMU training: powder brows, lip blush and microblading
Semi-permanent makeup is a skill of measurement and patience. The theory — pigment selection, brow mapping, skin depth, healing behaviour and correction — is what separates work that still looks good after 18 months from work that does not.
We deliver SPMU theory and method online, with a manual you keep and an assessment at the end, so you can study the underpinning knowledge properly before and alongside your hands-on practice.
The three SPMU courses
Each is a standalone course with its own manual and certificate.
- Powder Brows — soft shaded brow effect, machine technique and shading depth
- Lip Blush — lip mapping, pigment choice for different lip tones, healing
- Microblading Brows — hair-stroke pattern, blade selection and stroke direction
What you will study
Every SPMU course covers colour and pigment theory, Fitzpatrick considerations, patch testing, mapping and symmetry, needle or blade choice, working depth, expected healing across the retention period, contraindications and thorough consultation and consent.
Practice, insurance and models
SPMU also needs supervised practice on skin. Treat the online course as your theory, method and paperwork foundation, and confirm with your insurer what evidence of practice they require before you take paying clients.
