Fat dissolving injections training, studied online
Fat dissolving injections are one of the most requested treatments in UK clinics, and also one of the easiest to get wrong — outcomes depend far more on assessment and placement than on the product itself.
Our online course takes you through the treatment as it is actually performed, with a written manual you keep and an assessment at the end.
What the course covers
The course follows the full treatment journey rather than jumping straight to the injecting.
- Who is and is not a suitable candidate, and how to say no
- Anatomy of the treatment areas and structures to avoid
- Injection mapping and spacing, working at 0.1ml per point
- Contraindications, consent and record keeping
- Expected swelling and how to prepare the client for it
- Aftercare, review appointments and managing expectations
Who it is for
This is training for practitioners moving into or refreshing injectable work. Read the prerequisites on the course page before enrolling — injectable treatments assume relevant existing qualification, and prescription-only medicines require a prescriber or a named-prescriber arrangement.
Complications matter more than technique
Any practitioner injecting should also be confident recognising and escalating complications. Our Complications and Vascular Occlusion Emergency course covers spotting the early signs, capillary refill testing, nodules and ocular signs, and what to do immediately.
